- The Strand Palace in London was completely renovated in 2007-2008 and now attracts the guests with its 500 modern, bright and comfortable rooms. Furthermore, the hotel features a cosy lobby, an excellent restaurant and conference rooms equipped with the latest technology. The hotel is an ideal accommodation for both holiday makers and business travellers.
- Special features of the hotel
- Our Club rooms (called Standard rooms on HRS) are bright and airy with a contemporary décor, with double or single beds, all come complete with high speed internet access (chargeable), Wi-Fi capability, plasma TV screens, pay movies on demand, Satellite TV and bathrobes on request. For exercise enthusiasts, Club Room guests enjoy complimentary access to the world-class Virgin Active Health Club, located across the street. Please note that hotel has completed its bedroom refurbishment and will now continue with the exterior of the building over the next 12 to 18 months. We will be erecting scaffolding at different points of the building over this time in order to facilitate the cleaning of the brickwork and the re-placement of the windows. Of course, disruption to our guests will be kept to an absolute minimum as once inside the property, there will be no disturbance or physical evidence of the works outside.

Negative: No mini refrigerator in the room, room size is extremely small,
Positive: The staff at the reception promptly accepted my request for changing my room, giving me a better room on the front side which was slightly bigger and fresher.
Negative: The hotel, being quite big, has rooms with different location, temperature and size. they should increase air circulation in some of them, and make these things clear when you reserve your room.

Negative: Room was very small and you could everything and I mean everything in the rooms next door. A man was on his phone I could hear the whole conversation.

Positive: Friendly reception staff, great location
Negative: No air-conditioning and no windows that open on a hot July night makes it impossibly uncomfortable.
