Positive: Nice location just 3 minutes by walk from Earls Court, overlooking garden of Nevern square. Friendly staff and really good furniture in the room.
Negative: Rooms are small as in most of victorian buildings - we expected a bit more space in 4* hotel. Breakfast is quiet continental and does not contain much vegetables.
Negative: No replacement of missing remote controls in room.
Positive: - Beautiful Breakfast room (conservatory) - Personell very much wishes to help the guest but sometimes appears a bit insecure - Free wireless internet, incredible!
Negative: Hard-nosed business attitude: - Bill was charged to my credit card upon arrival - to me a first in 15 years of business travel! - When I had to travel back a day early (and announced so 24 hrs in advance!), the extra night was charged to me anyway! - Using a British-to-continental power plug adapter cost me a GBP10.- deposit Also, in a 4 star room I expect a writing table. I was partially writing on my laptop sitting on the bed. However, personell later on made a table in the restaurant available upon hearing my challenge.
