Positive: The staff are always welcoming and very eager to help.
The spa facilities are useful particularly when travelling alone.
Bedrooms are very comfortable and a good size
Food in the restaurant is usually of good quality
Negative: Major issue was that the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening and will be for the rest of January with the only alternatives being the bar (limited menu and no tqbles which would be easy to eat at) or room service which attracts a additional charge of £3.00
The restaurent is looking a bit worn, seats are stained and tables scuffed.
Menu can become a bit limited after a few stays
Positive: I stay in hotels regularly. In this category I believe this is the best hotel I have stayed in. Excellent overall experience.
Positive: Very apologetic for failure to deliver arranged alarm call
Negative: No alarm call, although requested.
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and invariably find that the bathrooms smell stale and of urine - either the cleaning is inadequate, there is something amiss with the plumbing or the cleaning materials need to be changed.
Negative: It is negative for travellers on business to endeavour chargeable internet costs
