positiv: The staff's friendliness

negativ: No

positiv: Close to Brinsworth. Location is the only reason I would stay there again.

negativ: Bad road noise - room at front of hotel with window closed was still too loud. Poor heating control in room. Tired & dated decor & facilities.

positiv: friendliness of staff

negativ: Breakfast was poor

positiv: First class staff - very polite and helpful. Good food and overall great value for money hotel.

negativ: Some areas are starting to look a little tired and in need of redecorating. Only one vending machine which was sparse of anything but fizzy drinks. No cash point machine which is unusual.

positiv: Very pleasant check in and made to feel welcome. All staff were helpful and friendly

negativ: The hotel is very tired and in need of updating. My room was clean but the wear and tear on door frames, bathroom etc made it all look and feel tatty. Bed was clean and relativley comfortable. Next time I would consider stayting at a Premier Inn as I dont use the gym/pool that is availabel at the Holiday Inn

positiv: Friendly staff and clean rooms.

negativ: Only small points but ones that annoyed me. Window was wide open on arrival so room was around -1 degrees C. No biscuits to have with tea in room. Breakfast selection was limited and quite poor. I stayed their two years ago and it has gone downhill in its standards quite a bit since then. Also had to pay for broadband and was told email would be sent with key to log in, this email was never sent and i did not want to make another payment with my credit card so no internet access to be able to caary out my work. Finally machines offering snacks at end of the corridor were all empty.

positiv: Offered limited complimentary internet connection when there was a disagreement over its inclusion in the description of the room rate and what's included.

negativ: Different interpretation of what's included in the room rate on multiple visits using the same room rate description - sometimes internet connection was included and other times was excluded despite the same description. Seems to be left to the discretion of who's on reception.

negativ: No hot water in bathroom in the morning. Hotel in need of decoration and refurbishment. Dirty carpet in bedroom. Smelly male toilets in bar area. Restaurant menu limited

negativ: Company policy dictates we cannot pay for internet connections unless we are staying there for three or more nights. Not happy at having to pay a charge for internet access so this will influence whether I stay there agai or not.

positiv: Very friendlly reception and resteraunt staff

negativ: None really - Stayed here many times before beacause it's comfortable.

positiv: Excellent staff from reception to bar workers.All only to happly to make your stay a welcoming one.

negativ: Larger selection of tv channels would be a big advantage

positiv: Decent Restaraunt and clean hotel with gym.

negativ: Car parking charges have now been introduced.
TV Channels in room are limited.

positiv: Average 3 star but does have a resteraunt & room service,so there's no need to go looking elsewhere if arriving late. All electrical equipment in the room was PAT Tested and in date. Fast checkout option.

negativ: Toilet seat broken TV Channels limited Network connection is PAYG

positiv: Hotel with lots of facilities (eg gym) and good sized well furnished rooms. Corp rate of £73 is excellent value for money.

negativ: On this occasion I was put a smoking room.
