You can fly to Malpensa with Easyjet airlines or a cheaper version - Ryanair. With plenty of hotels, Malpensa is a good place if you want to pop into Milan, shop until you drop in the city and still manage to make it on time for your early morning flight back to your destination. Another place worth seeing is a cosy, small town called Arona, only a twenty minute drive from Terminal 1 at Malpensa. Hotels are available everywhere and for every budget.
Many inns and hotels in Malpensa are situated by its airport and offer a great value for early bird business travellers. If you are on your way to fair trades, a fashion week or to see how the stock exchange is doing, but do not want to stay in the crowded city of Milan, you can find plenty of inexpensive and cosy hotels near Malpensa town and the airport, like in a small village called Somma Lombardo. It is an oasis of peace and quiet, a gateway from busy Milan.
