Dominating the city is the impressive Petrovaradin fortress. It is now an interesting museum with a very nice collection of objects and art from the region. One of the most popular attractions in the city and a reason a lot of people book in to Novi Sad hotels is the EXIT Festival which has an amazing variety of bands from all over the world who converge on the city in July each year. If loud music isn't your forte, then you can go for a quiet stroll along the Danube.
Novi Sad is very well connected in the region and even internationally. It is only 80 kilometres from Belgrade, and 300 kilometres from Budapest. The Nikola Tesla International Airport provides flights services to and from most major cities in Europe. The Budapest airport is also a good option. Travel by car is a good option as well. You can get to your Novi Sad hotel via the E70 from Ljubljana or E75 form Belgrade and Budapest.
