Esenboga Airport is located about 28 km northeast of the city of Ankara. Hotels in the city can be reached by taxi or shuttle bus. Havas has a scheduled bus route which can take you from the Gar Train Station to the airport every half hour. The city buses are a cheap alternative, with both a private and public bus system. There are two underground systems, metro and light metro, one running north of the city to the centre, the other going south.
