Located between the mountains and the Borromean Gulf, Hotel Simplon is set in its own sub-tropical gardens, close to the centre of Baveno. Rooms offer views of the mountains, of Lake Maggiore, or of the garden. Stresa is 2.5 km away. During your stay at the Simplon Hotel you can relax beside the swimming pool, overlooking the hotel’s beautifully landscaped gardens, or you can make use of the lakeside beach, just a few metres away. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and features large windows overlooking the garden and finely decorated ceilings. Aperitifs and cocktails are served at the bar with terrace. Each room is en suite and includes a minibar and a flat-screen TV. The floors are in parquet or carpet. An indoor heated swimming pool, solarium, Turkish bath and gym are available at the Simplon’s sister hotel, the Grand Hotel Dino, accessible by an indoor art gallery.
