Our hotel is located right in the heart of Rhauderfehn. Supermarkets, pharmacies, public facilities and the bus station are within walking distance. There are many tourist attractions in the wider area. From the Fehn and Shipping Museum and the paddling and pedal station in Rhauderfehn to the old town in Leer and the Bünting Tea Museum, lighthouses, mills and parks and gardens, there is a lot to discover.

Toller Service in einem liebevollen Ambiente mitten in einem stimmungsvollen Ort. Das Personal super zuvorkommend, prima Restaurant und schöne, gepflegte und ruhige Zimmer - sogar unser Hund war willkommen. Perfektes Hotel in der Gegend.

Hotel Description

In 1886, the “Royal Prussian Navigation School”, which is still preserved today, was built on the property and served to train young sailors or prepare them for attending the helmsman school. This chapter ended in 1918. After various subsequent uses, a hotel with a fine kitchen with a wine and beer garden for tourists and locals moved into this historical ambience. This is how our restaurant Ankerplatz was created, which finally opened its doors on October 1st, 2021. The hotel with around 30 hotel rooms and conference facilities opened in spring 2022.

Special features of the hotel

Our hotel has an anchorage restaurant with around 80 seats. This cozy German restaurant is complemented by a beer and wine garden that welcomes around 50-70 guests. There is also a seminar room for a maximum of 70 guests. Added to this is our bar Unsinkbar. For arrivals after the reception opening-times: please contact the hotel in advance.
