As part of the St. Marienthal Abbey, you can explore the historic premises without doing a long journey. via A 4 - motorway exit Görlitz: Drive in the direction of Görlitz, in Görlitz take the B 99 in the direction of Zittau with the route via Hagenwerder - Leuba - Ostritz. After leaving Ostritz, follow the signs to St. Marienthal Monastery. Free parking is available for overnight guests on the monastery grounds.

By train: via Dresden or Berlin to Görlitz, continue: by train to Ostritz/Krzewina Zgorzelecka (the station is on the Polish side), then by taxi to the monastery or by bus line 21 from Görlitz, station forecourt in the direction of Zittau to the monastery.
