The only road that travels from the airport to Heraklion center is "Ikarou" street. Follow this road alle the way to the city center for about 4 Km until you get to the Archeological museum. From the Archaeological Museum turn right down to Befor street. Along this road is Epimenidou street where Lato Hotel is situated on the right side By Bus: Take the bus to "Eleftherias" square. Follow "Idomeneos" street, at the left side of the bus station, all the way down until you meet "Epimenidou" street. Turn right and you will see Lato hotel in front of you. Taxi will cost you about 1500 Greek drachmas from the airport to the hotel and 700 GDR from the harbour to the hotel, if you arrive by ship If you reach the port by ship, take the "Ethnikis Antistaseos" road at the exit of the port. Cross the traffic lights at the port exit and follow this street. When you meet traffic lights again, turn right to "Ikarou" street. When you reach the Archaeological museum, turn right to " Befor" street. Along this road is "Epimenidou" street where Lato hotel can be found in front of you. Please use the third map as a reference The Lato hotel can easily be reached by food from the Old Port. It is situated in front of it, only 10 minutes away. As you leave the port exit turn right to "Aigaiou" road until you meet "Kountourioti" square. Exactly across the square tere are stairs that lead to "Epimenidou" street.
