The Hungaria, located centrally on the venetian island of Lido, famous for its beach, is only 5 minutes walk from the central port of Santa Maria Elisabetta. From here the regular boat service connects with St. Marks square and the centre of Venice in 15 minutes. The hotel can be reached from the airport by water taxi or the waterbus Alilaguna to Santa Maria Elisabetta. Arriving by car, the ferry from the island Tronchetto operates a regular service and it takes 30 minutes to reach the Lido passing via the Giudecca and the St. Marks basin.

There is a direct public transportation line which connects the Marco Polo airport to the Lido, or even private taxis. Two public boat lines which depart from Santa Lucia Station and run down the Grand Canal or the Giudecca Canal will take you to the Lido.
