PURE NATURE - with charm and heart in the middle of nature The “Kurparkhotel Gemünd” is located a good 65 kilometers southwest of Cologne, in the middle of the Eifel National Park, near the confluence of the Urft and Olef rivers. There is a good 110 square kilometers of nature in front of the front door, which is equivalent to around 17,000 football fields. Directly from the hotel you can discover the primeval forests of tomorrow on foot. Wild cats, black storks and around 1,000 other endangered animal and plant species can already be found in the large protected area. You can also enjoy unique views of the Rursee, Obersee and Urftsee dams.
