Entering Ellsworth from Bangor you are on Rte 1A, go straight through 4 traffic lights. The 4th is at the McDonald s, go straight, half away up the hill.. we are on the LEFT. -- Directions -- From Bangor: Exit to Downeast region on to I-395 for about 5 miles that will take you right into Rte 1A, stay on that road about 25 miles, that will bring you right into Ellsworth. At the 1st traffic light go staight, you will go through 4 light total. The 4 light is beside McDonald s, go straight, half away up the hill.. we are on the LEFT. From Bucksport: Follow Rte 1 into Ellsworth. You will go down a very steep hill. At that light, go straight, you are on Main Street, at the top of th, Abbe Museum, Acadia National Park, Acadia Zoo, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Birdsacre Sanctuary, Blue Hill Peninsula, Kebo Valley Golf Course, Lumberjack Show, Nature Cruises, Oceanarium, Schoodic Point, Whale watching

We are located in the heart of Downeast Maine, in Hancock County and a stone's throw from many scenic attractions, including Mount Desert Island, Acadia National Park, the Blue Hill Peninsula and Schoodic Point. There are a variety of stores and restaurants within walking distance; Birdsacre Sanctuary, a wonderful place for a walk, is across the street; the Acadia Zoo, Bar Harbor Golf Course, the Great Maine Lumberjack Show and the Ellsworth Tennis Center are near by.
