Leave the F1 Freeway, turn left onto the New England Highway and drive five kilometers towards Maitland. The motel is on your left. Newcastle is an easy 30 minute drive. Barrington Tops can be reached in an hour. yes... we had booked in for two adults only to be given a small single bed. This was despite two travellers named on the booking details. With no other vacant rooms, no effort was made to try and help us secure accommodation elsewhere in Maitland... very poor customer service....just blamed the booking service and not prepared to take any responsibility. P.S had to fill in my feel good factor to publish this post so in so many bad ways, this motel does leave a lasting impression but not a favourable one....will not stay there again.
