Special features of the hotel

The building is 100 years old and originally used to be a bank. After a one-and-a-half year refurbishment the hotel has been designed by the Spanish interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán in a style that could be called modern country combining both Scandinavian and Mallorquin maritime elements. The design is rather maximalistic than minimalistic and makes you want to live in the hotel than only stay. As opposed to the exclusive and tranquil atmosphere of the hotel, its restaurant is a hip place to be in Palma with a large terrace around its famous olive tree where tourists and Mallorquins mingle having breakfast, lunch or dinner, enjoy the Spanish "café" culture or meet for drinks. The Cuisine is Mediterranean-Mallorquin and surprises by the quality of the local and regional ingredients and the passion they have been prepared with.
