Founded in 1806, Furuya Ryokan is the oldest traditional Japanese inn in Atami. This ryokan boasts an authentic hot spring, sourced on site and sent to the gorgeous bathing facilities directly. Furuya Ryokan also offers outstanding traditional haute Japanese cuisine, served in room so that guests may dine in comfort and privacy. The menu changes regularly, reflecting the best gourmet offerings of the season featuring fresh, locally sourced produce and seafood as well as top grade Japanese beef. Guest rooms are spacious and feature a classically Japanese aesthetic, fitted with tatami mat floors and futon bedding. Every guest room also features its own open air bath, allowing guests can enjoy the tranquility of the hot springs in privacy.
