El Jardín Vertical hotel is housed in a 16th century construction built in red "Rodeno" stone. The house, situated in one of the oldest parts of the village, in Castellon province, is the residence of artists and dreamers. It towers twelve metres above the line of the medieval city walls offering a privileged view over the mountain range and magnificent surrounding countryside with almond and olive groves and old oak trees. The house has been restored respecting the its original structure with thick stone walls and other features such as the stone stair case. The room where breakfast is served, overlooking a small south-facing patio, is particularly pleasant. The whole hotel has been decorated with modern, stylish furniture that fits very well with the warm ochre and terracotta colours chosen for the walls.
