Almyra luxury accommodation offers three spacious suites in a contemporary architecturally designed new property set in 3.5 acres of parkland garden leading to the waters edge. Almyra is located on the stunning Kina Peninsula - close to Abel Tasman National Park, but also within easy drive of Nelson city and the airport. Each Suite offers a super king, king or twin bedded room with sumptuous beds, dressed with organic egyptian cotton linens.  There is ample storage space and a luxury ensuite bathroom to each suite, with walk-in showers, demist mirrors, towel warmers, underfloor heating, hairdryers, fluffy towels, dressing robes and slippers. There are large picture windows, leading to private decks with outdoor seating; sun umbrellas and sunloungers. Every room has amazing mountain and  estuary  sea views and guests are welcome to wander the grounds and explore the garden. Every room has a Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, tea/coffe making facilities and glassware and crockery for simple snacks. Free WIFI is offered throughout the property. All rooms have flat screen tv; dvd player; ipod dock, swimming/beach towels. There is beautiful art work in every room - much of it by Ron (your host) who works in Pastels. We have a guest hot tub/spa for year round use and a 11 metre solar heated outdoor swimming pool.  Massage treatments can be arranged in house. Our Kina suite is our deluxe suite with its own separate sitting room and kitchenette.  Every comfort is provided with leather sofas and a beautiful leather reclining chair in the bedroom.  The kitchenette allows Kina Suite guests to prepare simple meals and there is a BBQ outside for guests. There is a  separate guest driveway to the property, with guest parking area and guest entrance - away from the main house. However your hosts, Fiona and Ron are always on hand, to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.  We can also make dinner reservartions and have contacts with most of the activity providers in the area.   Bookings can be made and paid for to us, saving any worry when you are out in the National park, or on a boat! Breakfast is offered in-house or al fresco (weather permitting) to our Tasman and Estuary room guests with breakfast provisions offered to Kina Suite guests. However, if you prefer breakfast served to you, Kina Suite guests can pay a small extra charge for full breakfast.  Lunch picnic boxes can be ordered. Dinner is offered (by prior reservation) and served in our beautiful dining room.  Menus are created by our specially commissioned Michelin Chef. Kina Beach is just 2 minutes walk; golf is 5 minutes drive; fishing, walking, biking are on the doorstep.  We have a double kayak available for guests use.  There are restaurants within 12 minutes drive or in Nelson city.
