Located right by the beach, just 4km from the town centre, the Vila Baleira Resort was originally designed and built by a consortium of 50 German doctors who discovered the medicinal qualities of the island’s sands and envisioned a place that would welcome visitors from all over the world in an ambience of complete tranquillity. Covering a total area of 65,650 m2 and equipped with a Thalasso center with 3.500 m2, the resort is 6 km from Porto Santo International Airport, and from the quay and harbour that serve the island.
