Housed in a gracious Victorian Villa with many original features The Claremont has 11 individually styled and comfortable en-suite rooms. The three deluxe rooms - 2 with four poster beds are an expansive 22 square metres plus en-suite bathroom while the two superior rooms measure an impressive 23.5 square metres including bathroom. We recommend these rooms if you are planning a long stay. Our three stylish classic doubles are cosier with en-suite shower rooms - separate toilets and lovely garden views. We recommend these rooms for short stays. The three singles are spaciously appointed two with en-suite shower rooms and one with Victorian style bath. All rooms offer the following facilities- - Luxurious bathrobes - slippers and bath sheets - Gilchrist and Soames toiletries - Complimentary mineral water - Flat screen television and radio alarm clock - Direct-dial telephone - Well-stocked hospitality trays - Cafetiere with fresh coffee - Hairdryer - Free WiFi Our extensive award winning breakfast menu including vegan and vegetarian options is offered in our elegant dining room. The drawing room and study are perfect for small to medium sized meetings and functions up to 100 people. We are licensed to host weddings and civil partnership ceremonies and our private walled garden is the enchanting backdrop for both summer and winter receptions. We have a fine reputation for our delicious Vintage Afternoon Tea a traditional British homemade afternoon tea served on vintage bone china and crisp embroidered linen tablecloths. The hotel houses an art collection changed twice a year by our curator who always manages to find works that fit sympathetically with the architecture. Parking is available on four lanes in our road but we do not have a car park. During May each year The Claremont is open to the general public every weekend as part of the Brighton Festival Artists Open Houses initiative.
