Friendly staff, very welcoming and look after you
the bed was so uncomfortable that I barely slept; in the bathroom there was no possibility to have a show (attachment didn't work) so i had to have a bath; the location is quite remote from the office in Stevenage

-Property description-, the sun hotel hitchin is a traditional coaching, inn originally dating from at least 1575. It rose, to prominence in 1741 when the local kershaw, family set up a postal service between hitchin and, london. It then became a target for highwaymen and, in 1772 it was robbed by three of them. Today the, hotel welcomes locals travellers and business, people alike offering a hospitable bar-restaurant, and a comfortable place to stay and explore the, historical market town of hitchin. Each guestroom, contains a television tea and coffee making, facilities and a modern private bathroom with a, hairdryer as standard. Complimentary wireless, internet is available throughout the property., There is free parking at the rear. The restaurant, and bar area serves an excellent traditional menu, while the tasteful cromwell bar provides a lively, atmosphere and a selection of cask ales lagers and, fine wines. It also hosts the award-winning, hitchin folk club every sunday evening.
