When staying at the NH Madrid Nacional hotel, you will be in a privileged location on Paseo del Prado and steps away from Madrid’s Art Triangle. The Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia museums are right by the hotel. The 1920s building was designed by the famous architect Modesto López Otero and is located across the street from the Atocha train station. This means it provides excellent links to everywhere in the city, including the airport.

The bed was comfortable and the hotel is located near to transport links and shops which is useful. The wifi connection was good.
No coffee machine or kettle in the room yet the hotel is 4 stars? A kettle was received when requested but it only worked intermittently. A double was requested yet a twin room provided. The bath was tiny. I expect more from a 4 star hotel.

The breakfast and the facilities
Only the pillows, very soft to sleep. Could be harder.
