Special features of the hotel

Im Jahre 1865 brachte Johann A.W. v. Carstenn die Idee der Villenkolonie aus England nach Deutschland. Sein heute noch bestehendes Hauptwerk ist die Villenkolonie Lichterfelde-West. Kern dieses architektonischen Ensembles ist die Kaiserliche Hauptkadettenanstalt. Eines der Gebäude dieser zentralen, 1871 eröffneten Offiziers-Ausbildungs-Kaserne, wurde in den 1990er Jahren modernisiert. Als krönender Abschluss wurde auf das Gebäude das Aparion Berlin mit 85 großen und komfortablen Wohnungen aufgesetzt. Alle Apartments verfügen über eine Küchenzeile, Bad mit Dusche oder Wanne, TV, Internetanschluss und zumeist über einen großen Balkon mit Blick ins Grüne.
