Welcome to the family-run Hotel Ambiente in Dortmund! Our hotel has a long tradition, because before it became a hotel, it was the officers' mess of the British Army, which was still stationed in Dortmund at the time. Since its conversion into a hotel, our hotel now has 36 spacious rooms spread over 2 floors. In addition to classic single rooms, we have several comfort single and double rooms and a family room. 4 conference rooms also make our hotel an ideal venue for meetings. We spoil our guests with culinary delights in our in-house restaurant. Round off a successful working day or a visit to a BVB match at our lobby bar with a cool glass of Dortmund beer.

Welcome to the family-run Hotel Ambiente in Dortmund! Special features of the hotel

Since 01.04.2023 we are obligated to collect the lodging tax of the city of Dortmund (over 7.5% of the overnight stay price) also with occupation-caused overnight accomodation from our guests. This tax (the so-called bed tax) is not included in the contractually agreed rates and must be paid additionally. We regret the decision of the city of Dortmund very much, but are obliged to collect this bed tax.
