Nice cozy Hotel, close to the NEC convention.

It can be noisy, it seems to be a old structure underneath the carpet so you may here people walking around above you and outside of your room. Other than that great stay, totally recommended for its price!

Staff were friendly, close to the office, parking was free

Dated room with tired décor and marks on the walls (you could clearly see where the trouser press had been removed)! WiFi so slow it was un-useable after 9pm. Radiator made loud clanging noises all night even after I turned it off. There was a hole in one of the towels provided. Sound insulation in the room was poor, could hear next door's TV all night. Room overlooked a busy 24 hour petrol station so opening the window was not an option. Poor water flow in the bathroom sink. I had the 'Arden Burger' from the bar which was burnt to a crisp and virtually inedible (and the chips were cold). Was asked to pay for breakfast despite paying for it in advance at check in. I actually booked this hotel due to poor reviews I read on-line for the nearby Crowne Plaza. Next time I'll book the other one instead!
