As part of the city of San Michele al Tagliamento, Bibione is located in the eastern Veneto region, between Venice and Triest on the Northern Adriatic Coast, this beach town borders the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. A bridge links the mainland with the island of Bibione. Visitors can arrive by car, either by the A23 or A4 motorways. There are also regular trains from Venice and Trieste, and it is accessible by boat. Visitors arriving by plane can fly into Venice, Treviso, or Ronchi dei Legionari Airports.

In September, there is the annual Septemberfest, which celebrates wine and grapes. It is easy to visit the surrounding cities seeped in culture and history, such as nearby Venice, Padua, and Treviso.
