Sleeping in Hotel New York is an experience! Hotel New York is located in the former headquarters of the Holland America Line and it shows! Throughout the hotel, the nostalgia is visible: high ceilings, authentic Holland America Line details and a beautiful wrought iron staircase. The service is unique and belonging to a 4 star hotel: no keycards but modern old-fashioned key bobbins and no tight minibar but 24 hour personalized room service. Hotel New York has 72 unique rooms, including the two green turrets, the former caretaker's house on the roof and the boardroom where the former directors of the Holland America Line had their office. Despite the nostalgic, the rooms fully meet the needs of the travelers of today: free WiFi, air conditioning and 24-hour room service. In the lobby you will find a bookstore with books on cooking, traveling, New York and Rotterdam.
