At about 3 km on the Douro River, there is a modern marina where you can rent vehicles to do watersports, restaurates and terraces, spa, shops, church, several areas where you can make beautiful walks. The journey from Porto to Resende, can be done by train, with some wonderful views of the river. By boat, it is also a wonderful trip, or by car.
