-Property description-, the vendue is situated in charlestons historic, french quarter and is comprised of two charming, boutique hotels housed in a collection of, warehouse buildings dating back to the 1780s. The, peninsulas only hotel dedicated to the arts in all, forms the vendue is itself as much a destination, as the many points of interest just outside its, entryways. Made up of several warehouse buildings, dating back to the 1780s great care has been taken, throughout the years to preserve the historical, character of the vendue. Made up of five warehouse, buildings dating back to the 1780s 19 vendue, houses 45 uniquely appointed guest rooms of, varying size. 19 vendue features the propertys, on-site caf restaurant and rooftop bar in addition, to exhibition space. 26 vendue is a collection of, 39 guest rooms many of which contain historical, architectural components as well home to our, artist in residence. 26 vendue is also the, location of our daily managers reception at 400pm, in the sitting room with wine and light bites. The, vendue is the only hotel on the charleston, peninsula dedicated to the arts in all forms. The, propertys art program is a collaboration with the, charleston art community featuring works from, artists around the world
