Location: South-western France in the Midi-Pyrenees
The city can be found in south-western France on the banks of the Garonne River. It is the fourth largest city in France, and can be reached by all modes of transportation. By air, the city is served by the Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, just 8 km from the city centre. Additionally, the city is reached by train at Toulouse Matabiau station, and can be accessed by car via multiple motorways coming from all directions.
Business: A major hub for aeronautics and technologies
A dynamic city, Toulouse is one that is represented by many industries, most notably aeronautics. The airplane manufacturer Airbus has its headquarters in the nearby town of Blagnac, which includes the assembly lines of its major airplanes. Other important industries in the area include space, electronics, information technology, and biotechnology.

Toulouse has a rich cultural heritage to discover, filled with historic monuments, art, museums, and natural sites. The area’s most sought after monuments are found in the city centre and include the beautiful Capitole, the City Hall, and the Musée Saint-Raymond, among others.
