A 5-minute walk from the beach promenade, this hotel in Norderney’s town centre offers rooms and apartments with balconies. Behind its brickwork exterior, Michels Gästehaus Meerzeit has bright accommodation with TVs and bathrooms. All rooms and apartments can be reached by elevator. Many restaurants are within a 5-minute walk of Michels Gästehaus Meerzeit. The island’s casino, Kurhaus building and Conversationshaus are within a 2-minute walk. The East Frisian Island of Norderney is part of the Wadden Sea National Park, and is easily explored on foot or by bicycle. Norderney Ferry Port is a 5-minute drive away. The hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users as there are six steps at the entrance to the building that must be overcome. Please note that a city tax of EUR 4,90 (high season) or EUR 3,10 (low season) per person per night is not included in the price. Please note that in May, June, September and October the Club Touristic will take place in this hotel. Therefore minor disturbances may occur. The nearby properties will be going through renovation works from 1 October until 30 April. During this period, guests may experience some noise or light disturbances. Norderney Island is partially car free. The schedule for Norderney’s Island ferry is continually changing, as ferry-crossing times are dependent on the tides. The travel time from Norddeich Ferry Port to Norderney Island is approximately 50 minutes. For a fee, guests can leave their cars at Norddeich Ferry Port, which has a large car park.
