Nature and culture The Santi Giacomo e Filippo estate is located inside the La Badia faunal oasis. The natural and geomorphological environment consists of gently waving clay hills and river valleys, spotted by majestic century old oaks and horse-chestnut trees. The Urbino Resort has been created not only to offer hospitality but also to enhance one of the most precious corners of Italy, the Montefeltro. The Stables, one of the 5 restored houses, is the ideal place for horse riding lovers. They can stay with their own horse using the resort as a landmark for trekking in the area. Every building and every unit has its own characteristics. Old materials, for example a barrel, are used as a bedside table, a mattress cover as curtains. Linen, delicate silks and pure cotton have been used in every room, which is different from the others. Surrounded by nature, the elegant country-style restaurant serves traditional cuisine with a modern twist. There is a beautiful fireplace, high wooden ceilings, and evocative lighting. Urbino Resort offers its guests the possibility to relax in its wellness centre, built on the 18th century hayloft of the village. The large glass windows and the terasse all round the building offer fantastic views of the  gentle Montefeltro hills and, together with the sweet sound of the  inside waterfall of the hydrotherapy pool, create the ideal conditions for extraordinary relaxing. All 5 senses will be activated even before the care of the highly specialised staff, giving new vitality not only to the body but also to the mind. The large hydrotherapy pool – where treatment is available on request - with its waterfall and counter-current jets increases natural massage and reinvigorates the whole body.
