5-star superior Hotel and Resort Traube Tonbach is located at the end of the idyllic Tonbach Valley-South West of Germany next to the Black Forest National Park-one of the most picturesque natural landscapes in Europe-Guests can indulge in a sense of luxury-tradition and lifestyle-Traube Tonbach has been owned by the same family for over 230 years-In 1789 Tobias Finkbeiner built one of the very first houses in the valley when the forestry industry was just starting to take hold there-He opened a tavern for lumbermen and all other working men-The owners family personal touch-along with the friendly synergy between the guests and the Traube staff-help create a close connection to the hotel-The 151 rooms and apartments are furnished in the style of an elegant country house-the suites have an exclusive Black Forest ambience-All rooms have a balcony or terrace with spectacular views of the Black Forest-128 rooms are in the main building and 23 of them in the Kohlwald building where you also find a sauna area with a panoramic sauna overviewing the valley-About 10 minutes walking time from the hotel guests will find our cabin in the woods serving small dishes from noon to 6pm-In the Traube Kids Court families find plenty of space for children-The hotel is honoured with the German 5-star-superior-category and the American 5-star-diamond award-Our historic house with its a-la-carte restaurants Schwarzwaldstube-Kohlerstube and Bauernstube is currently closed therefore no bookings for 2 of these restaurants are currently possible-We look forward to continuing to present you with culinary delights in our Restaurant Silberberg-The team of the restaurant Kohlerstube will serve their culinary creations again from February 1st in another location on the premises-The main hotel has pool and sauna area of 4000sqm-the Restaurant Silberberg-Hotel bar-9 SPA treatment rooms-Huge childrens play area-Wine shop and other shops-Our program continues as usual with Yoga classes or hiking tours
