1931年創業の湯之島館は、有名な下呂温泉地区の景色を見渡す丘の上にあり、広々とした温泉大浴場（露天風呂付）、和室のお部屋、有料のマッサージ（リクエスト制）を提供しています。有形文化財に登録された伝統的な建物を利用した宿泊施設で、トリップアドバイザーのエクセレンス認証を受賞しています。 畳敷きのお部屋にはエアコン、布団、薄型テレビ、冷蔵庫、電気ポット（緑茶ティーバッグ付）が備わり、人数分の浴衣と歯磨きセットを用意しています。一部のお部屋は温泉風呂付きで、その他のお部屋は共用バスルーム利用となります。全室に専用トイレが付いています。 滞在中は、伝統的な庭でくつろいだり、展望台から街の夜景を楽しめます。ビリヤード台や卓球施設のほか、地元の特産品を販売するギフトショップもあります。館内全域で無料WiFiを利用できます。 夕食には会席料理を、朝食には和定食を用意しています。食事はお部屋内またはダイニングルームで提供しています。 旅館「湯之島館」からJR下呂駅まで徒歩15分、JR高山駅まで電車で45分、白川郷まで車で2時間です。 Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation. The ryokan operates a free shuttle bus service between the property and Gero Station. The bus schedule is set to match the departure and arrival times of the Hida limited express train at Gero Station. If you have food allergies or other diet restrictions, please inform the property at least 5 days before check-in. If dinner for children aged 2-5 is included when making a reservation, please note that children's dinner will be provided for children aged 2-5 years old. Children over 6 will be charged as adults.
