The Hotel Wilmina in the former Charlottenburg women's prison is part of a listed ensemble from the 19th century. Hidden behind flowing courtyards and lush gardens, the building was carefully transformed into a contemplative retreat in the heart of Berlin by Grüntuch Ernst Architekten in a sensitive dialogue with the existing rooms and traces of previous use.
