Size of the room, clean room, good breakfast
I don't like 2 separate small beds. As I'm 1.95 and over 100 kg I prefer a good double bed. Next to that, I'm not a fan of a shower/bath combination as it is already a bit slippery and small and I never feel super safe in it. I prefer just a normal shower where I can stand properly.

Size of the room, breakfast always decent with enough options, rooms are always clean with sufficient towels etc.
I really hate bathrooms with a bad/shower combination. I prefer a normal shower (I'm big and heavy and I have the feeling that those bad/shower combinations are always a bit unsafe (slippery and tight).
Next to that, I always feel that the time to register yourself at the receptions takes a long time and could be reduced (minimum) by 50%.
I want to emphasize I still prefer the Bayarena as my favorite Hotel in Leverkusen, but with a normal shower and a bit quicker assistance with the check-in the score would be higher for me (from an 8 to a 9 I would say)....
