On exiting the airport you will find yourself on the motorway to Funchal. After approximately 15 minutes and four tunnels later you will see a sign for Funchal (boa nova)and Palheiro Golf. Check your speed as the exit ramp is quite short and turn right. After the ‘S’ bend take the first turning to your left following the signs up the hill to Palheiro Golf.
BUS: Take the Aero-Bus, bus stop right outside terminal building, to Funchal City Center, Avenida do Mar. Look for Bus 33, Horarios do Funchal (yellow busses), get out at the final stop.
