Located within walking distance of Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding company where you can see a lot of large ships and the Yura Garrison of the Self Defense Force, which has an anchored submarine. The nearest harbor is Yura Harbor, which is a great fishing spot and was also featured in the movie 'Tsuribaka nisshi 4'. Also close to Umitsuri park, which offers raft fishing and bank fishing, as well as fishing for families and beginners. A good area for catching Japanese horse mackerel, threadsail filefish, black sea bream and bigfin reef squid. Shirasaki Kaiyo Park is a popular spot for diving.
