Welcome to FUJINOMIYA, where the city is the closest to Mount Fuji. Please come and travel to FUJINOMIYA and enjoy Mt. Fuji. No matter what seasons are, we are always fully supportive. Guesthouse Tokiwa info: Do you want to go out with Guesthouse owner? Let's go and have walk to 5th station! Start from 10am and back to Guesthouse at 1pm, May, June, Sept. , Nov. , only. Mt. Fuji, Sunrise and the Lake. Sunny day Everyday Depart from Tokiwa 1 hr before sunrise, back to Tokiwa after 2 hrs. Start from 10 Nov. To 20 Apr. 2016. Please come and visit to Fujinomiya. Guest house Tokiwa during summer time. July and Aug. , early Sept. Owner Daisuke gives a ride to Mt. Fuji 5th station for climbers and tourists, who would like to go sightseeing. (one way for climbers and round trip for sightseeing. For climbers, please use bus or taxi to come back to guest house. ) We depart from Tokiwa 5: 30 am and arrive 5th station at around 6: 40 am, stop at convenience store on the way. The fare is 1000 yen for each person. We stay at 5th station for 30 min to enjoy the beautiful view. We leave there at around 7: 15 am and come back to Tokiwa at around 8: 15. If you would like to go there at different time or by yourselves, please use the shuttle bus that departs from Fujinomiya stn. Rules for climbing Mt. Fuji: Please climb Mt. Fuji for all your own responsibility. Please take all your rubbish (litter) home. Do not climb in light clothing. (t shirts, half pants, sandals) Please climb down the mountain when you get mountain sickness or get injured. Let's greet others with smile when you are passing by them. Some advice for climbing to prevent from getting sick and getting injured: Please take a rest for 5 min after climbing for 30 min. Be sure to stay hydrated while you are climbing. You should go to restroom as soon as you feel the need. Prepare the mountain climbing equipment such as warm clothes, raincoat and headlight.
