It is the only completely preserved medieval town in North-Rhine Westphalia. The castle walls comprise 4 gates and 18 towers. This historic spa town is located in the south of North Rhine Westphalia. It is situated south of Cologne and west of Coblenz affording it easy access to other parts of Germany.
