Established in 1639, the construction of Shimogoten inn was ordered and financed by a feudal lord of Tokugawa clan in Kishu, Tokugawa Yorinobu, a. K. a. Nanryu in. The name Shimogoten was also officially bestowed by the daimyo, and its rich traditions and heritages have been preserved to this day. Ryujin hot springs remove extra sebum and impurities as well as stimulate healthy liver activity, which helps not only create fresh and baby like smooth skin, but also assist you to become beautiful from inside the body. Come to this luxurious hideaway among woods for an indulgent and soothing experience that will purify both body and mind.
Location of the hotel
Seasonal shuttle service available between Mt. Koya and Ryujin hot spring by booking between April 1st and June 30th, weekends and holidays between July and August through October. Stay away from Rotue 425 as it is not suitable for traveling. Please note that Koya Ryujin Sky line is occasionally close during winter, no toll is charged since 2003.
