Located in northwest Cambodia is this wonderful city, which serves as the gateway to the lost temples of Angkor, the UNESCO World Heritage Site that once was home to the Khmer Empire. The city of Angkor is the main attraction here, especially its main complex, Angkor Wat. Siem Reap sees large amounts of tourists flock here each year to visit the temples, and the town is well equipped with top-notch hotels and restaurants.
